A Legend of Wireless Microphone in Taiwan

The founder of MIPRO Electronics, Mr. K. C. Chang, is a legendary figure of the wireless microphones industry in Taiwan.

He is the inventor of the wireless microphone and developed the first condenser FM wireless microphone in Taiwan. In 1971, he founded the first factory in Taiwan to manufacture wireless microphones, and obtained the telecom approval of Taiwan's first wireless microphone, and produced Taiwan's first VHF and UHF wireless systems, as well as the first mobile wireless PA system.

Mr. Chang always adheres to product innovation and keeps developing higher quality products. In 1995, he founded “MIPRO Electronics” as a sole proprietor and created his own brand “MIPRO”.

MIPRO comes from the combination of the acronym MI and PRO of Microphone Professionals, which means “wireless microphone expert”.

Mr. Chang hopes that one day, “when professional audio customers all over the world think of wireless microphones, they think of MIPRO in Taiwan.”
